Honeychild Manor Farm is a working arable farm with its own dairy herd of 250 cows. Although set in a peaceful rural location Honeychild Manor Farm is in easy access to major towns and places of interest in Kent and East Sussex. The ports of Dover, Folkestone and Euro tunnel with crossings to France are just 30 minutes away. The historic town of Rye is only 25 minutes away. Smuggling was once a popular pastime on Romney Marsh and still retains an air of mystery and romance. Discover the secrets of Romney Marsh explore the famous and beautiful Norman and Medieval churches, unspoilt Country pubs and wildlife havens for heron, woodpecker and the Romney Marsh Frog. Watch for unusual birds in the remote wilds of the Dungeness Nature reserve, or climb to the top of the old lighthouse for fantastic views of the coastline. The golden beaches of Dymchurch and St Mary’s Bay are only 5 minutes away, as well as the enchanting Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch miniature steam railway.
